Nextdoor isn't always bad. Someone was looking for a person to do the siding on their house, offering to pay $12/hour for the work.
They got absolutely reamed by everyone in the comments.

One funny thing I have seen is how these companies want NPUs and such in personal PCs, to offload some of the power usage onto the consumer.
It isn't going to reduce the power need, just, spread it out more.
