I have a weird pet hobby. I kept seeing this furniture all over, never the same actual piece. I started taking photos anytime I saw one. @leo On TWIT you mentioned Amazon Batteries. At least for the rechargeables ones...
I am pretty sure it's changed, but at one point, they were actually better/best batteries. Eneloop Batteries from Japan are considered top tier rechargeable batteries, and come from only one rechargeable battery plant in Japan. AZ Batteries used to be branded "made in Japan", which meant they were made in the Eneloop factory.
They were just rebranded and cheaper.
Sadly, these days, many say "Made in China."
